Asemauka of Utomi/Ajoko-   promises to mobilise subjects for peace, commends Gov. Bello for addressing Injustice.

The 23rd Asemauka of Utomi/Ajoko- lineages in Adavi Local Government Area Mallam Nasiru Momoh who was elevated to 2nd class chief status recently has promised to mobilize his subjects for peaceful coexistence.
According to him, though his name was erroneously omitted from the initial promotion that was released by the Kogi State Government about two months ago as a peaceful people and one of the dominant clans in Adavi the matter of omision or mistake was adequately taken up with the State Government.
“The Government admitted the mistake and later upgraded the stool to 2nd class.”
He said the Asemo Otumi Ajoko is the father’s stool of the Uka clan of Adavi Local Government of Kogi State adding that it was a grevious oversight for the Government to promote the stool of the children higher and above that of the father
He also expressed gratitude equally that the Government gave attention to all genuine complaints which were corrected especially by also promoting the Fathers stool to 2nd class status.
The traditional ruler thanked the Special Adviser on Local Government and chieftaincy Affair Abubakar Ohere and all men of goodwill that worked very hard to right the wrong on behalf of the clan.
He pledged the unalloyed support of his clan members to the new direction Government of Governor Yahaya Bello.
He promised to mobilize his subjects to embrace peace as he described peace as the main ingredients for the development of any society.
He appreciated leaders and members of his clan for their maturity in handling the matter.
He enjoined them to continue to live in harmony and peaceful coexistence with people of other clans in the area.
Governor Yahaya Bello had earlier distributed letter of appointment to the One hundred (100), upgraded traditional rulers in the state.
