The people of Kogi State would not forget in a hurry, the mighty wonders of God at the two-day power packed crusade held by the Lord Chosen Church in Lokoja.
There was rain of miracles at the just concluded Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry held at the Lokoja Confluence Staium with the theme: “There cometh one mightier than all”. The theme of the program taken from the book of Mark 1:7 saw yokes been shattered, charms broken, sicknesses healed, bondages set free and he lame made to walk.
The crusade which was also set for healing of the land, saw, God’s servant, Rev. Lazarus Mouka, General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen, calling on God to visit the state in many mighty positive ways.
The state literally stood still as the streets, communities and people knew that the two-day crusade was one of its kinds spiritually.
The State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, represented by his Deputy, Simon Achuba, described the crusade as timely, disclosing in a chat with The Nigerian Post, that the revival could not have come at a better time, in view of the challenges the state and administration is facing.
Achuba, said the coming of God’s servant, Rev. Mouka to Kogi State was not by accident, said the state decided to key into the revival in order to tap from God’s blessing from Rev. Mouka, who he described as a holy ghost filled and anointed man of God.
Taking his text from mark chapter 1:7, Rev. Mouka revealed to the people that one that is mightier than all is in the state, prayed God to lift the state to another level of development.
Rev. Mouka admonished the congregation to live a holy life, appealed to residents of the state to shun adulatory and remain focused on God the messiah.
The power packed crusade saw a 47 year old deaf and dumb woman totally healed. People were healed of paralysis, diabetes, insanity and several other illnesses, bow to the force of the Almighty God, who is mightier than all.
The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival is one of the fast growing holy ghost filled church in Nigeria, with thousands of worshipers, began in 2002, is anchored upon a three fold vision of grassroots revival, revival and raising heaven bound Christians.
For now the crusade in Lokoja has come and gone, but the traces of healing and miracles still remains with the people, as more followers have in the state joined the fold.
